Dandelion Supreme

eating raw foodsThis living food recipe for the raw food diet is a great source for strong greens and an excellent detoxifying recipe.

Dandelion is often referred to as the “weight-loss” herb.

Dandelion helps to purify the lymphatic system as well as provide an excellent source of calcium and chlorophyll.  With this tasty recipe, you can enjoy the nutritional benefits of dandelion at any time.

1 ½ bunches dandelion, chopped

¼ cup scallions

1 clove garlic, minced

1 large mango, cubed

1 cup purple cabbage, shredded

½ lime

½ cup pine nuts

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

2 tablespoons flax seed oil

1 teaspoon Braggs Liquid Amino

Dash of sea salt

Marinate cabbage with lime juice, 1 teaspoon of olive oil, and sea salt.

Set aside for 20 minutes.

Fold in cabbage and mix together with all ingredients.

Watch the intake of salt and liquid amino.

Braggs liquid amino is quite strong. It only takes a little bit.

Mixing with sea salt can be overpowering, if one has a heavy hand.

  1. With a detox diet it is advisable to plan it our carefully. The first goal of a detox diet is to rid your body of any harmful toxins, not weight loss. So the removal of insecticide, addatives, antibiotics, etc before weight loss is your first priority. Weight loss can come with the detox diet plans, it has been known to happen on several occasions.
